I’m so fashion, so fresh and lean
Fillin’ out my closet with skinny jeans
Layers on layers that’s the way I roll
Middle of summer, dressed for the south pole
Your loose fitting clothes just don’t belong here
Take your Abercromie and please disappear
Scarves, Pea coats and tapered pants
Anorexic girls with no implants
Sunglasses that cost five hundred dollars
Brown tweed jackets like English scholars
More shoes than a normal person owns t-shirts
Chukka, chelsea, desert, boats, plimsolls and Converse
Brown, black and navy blue is the color of my flag
Your car didn’t cost as much as my handbag
Getting looks from the bros like I must be gay
They just jelly I skip the buffet
Waist size twenty-nine, one-twenty-five pounds
Six foot one, shoe size of a clown
If you wanna be /fa/ this is what you need to do
Look in the mirror and just stop being you

What to Wear to Jamba Juice
In case you were wondering what smoothie girl was talking about.
The picture is all J. Crew; I was wearing the LEC red chambray, Levi 514s, and beat-upĀ Clarks DBs in Sand Suede.

Q:Do you like J.crew?
Nope. J Crew has such a wide variety of products that it’s hard to generalize the quality of the merchandise as a whole, but everything in that store is too big on me. Their suits, their shirts, pants, everything is just way too loose, even in their smallest “slim-fit” sizes. As someone who’s 5’10 and 130lbs, the mall-tier stores I usually shop at are American Apparel (hooray unisex sizing!) and Uniqlo (I go to New York and Korea pretty often, but you can place a phone/e-mail order if you don’t have one near you).
If you are of size though, here’s what I think of J Crew in terms of design (yes, I know I just said I can’t generalize because they have such a wide selection): J. Crew offers affordable clothing to people who want a trad/prep look, but don’t really care about fashion. The cuts (even their “slim-fit”) are very traditional and the quality is fairly average. Depending on where you are, their in-store selection pretty poor and their designs as a whole are boring and recycled. From what I remember about the last time I visited J. Crew, I thought their socks, ties, and pocket squares were pretty nice, but overpriced. If you spend a little more time looking, you can easily pick up more quality pieces or cheaper pieces. (or both)
TL;DR I think for some of their more basic stuff, Uniqlo is just better all around and if you have the money to spend on some of their more high-end stuff, I suggest you shop elsewhere, as there are many other labels who do trad and minimalism in a more modern and interesting manner.
Here’s a nice, if boring, pocket square. One of the better products offered at J. Crew.
